Rode from Inwood to the George Washington Bridge, crossed GWB, took U.S. 9W from Fort Lee to the New York border (Rockland county branch), had lunch in Northvale, NJ, came back down through the Palisades Park (fun!), where we encountered this.

We carried our bikes over, crossed back over the bridge, and rode home up Broadway.

So I won a poker tournament at Harrah’s Las Vegas this weekend. Who knew I could play poker? Not me.

Any of you New Yorkers have access to a roof with a view of the city? My friend’s video has a scene where the lead character is viewing the city and making a decision--nothing too disruptive. The shoot date for the roof scene would be November 1.

Are any of you talented make-up artists? A friend of mine is going to be making a short video this Saturday (and Nov. 8), and our make-up person (another friend) has been incommunicado. I’m worried about my friend, but I’m also worried about the shoot. I’d love to have a back-up, just in case.

For the 2nd year in a row, a song with a curse word in the title won the Emmy for Outstanding Music and Lyrics. Sarah Silverman won for her song about the special relationship she shares with Matt Damon, as seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
