So much for my plan to announce menus 2 weeks in advance!
Since that didn't work out quite how I planed, I've gone ahead and tried to figure out menus through the end of April.
I will still post a reminder a week ahead in order to give everyone time to do the grocery shopping. So, here's a quick rundown of the March & April menus. I'll be adding links to actual recipes later.
March Week 1 - FRANCE
dinner - coq au vin
vegetarian alternate - ratatouille
dessert - clafoutis
March Week 2 - ENGLAND
dinner - pork roast, root vegetables, yorkshire pudding & gravy
vegetarian alternate - Welsh rabbit and mushy peas
dessert - trifle
March Week 3 - Ireland
dinner - corned beef and vegetables, Irish soda bread
vegetarian alternate - vegan "shepherd's pie"
dessert - chocolate Guinness cake
March Week 4 - Italy
dinner - Chicken piccata and risotto
vegetarian - pasta with butternut squash and sage
dessert - gelato
March Week 5/April Week 1 - Greece
dinner - souvlaki, artichokes & potatoes
vegetarian - Greek pies (spanikopita, kolokithopita, agginiropita, prassopita, etc.)
dessert - baklava
April Week 2 - Turkey
dinner - meze
vegetarian - meze
dessert - muhallebi
April Week 3 - Egypt
dinner - moussaqa'a
vegetarian - kushari
dessert - halva
April Week 4 - Tunisia
dinner - honey chicken, couscous
vegetarian - chakchouka
dessert - olive oil cake
