First things first.  I went to the Greenwich Village Parade last night.  As a pirate. Very little went into my costume.  I had already owned the frilly shirt for 4 years and had a few pieces of jewelry to use.  Jen loaned me the eye patch, which was both fun and disorienting.

Yes, well, before I forget, I went to see the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony again.

Didn't happen like last year, though.  For instance, I didn't actually see the tree.  At all.  As usual, we ended up in Time Square (which I'd really like to avoid for a month).

Saw Saw II.  Heh heh.  I enjoyed myself yesterday.  Well, except for the transport.  We won't dwell on that now, but let it be said that the MTA sucks.
Ate at a great dinner where we stayed long enough for the actual meal!  Yay.

This Monday was my male BFF's birthday. His roommate had arranged reservations for us and three of their friends at a Japanese restaurant in the city.
