There’s something about the sea that calms him.
That simple mix of sand, salt and water that puts his mind in an almost instant state of peace and relaxation.
It’s therapeutic out there, with the wind in his hair and his entire focus on riding the wave, riding the rush.
He’s no big-time surfer, his moves are fluid, but not in a way that would cause any professional sponsors to come knocking on his door anytime soon, and that’s perfectly fine.
He isn’t looking to go pro, to taint his time stuck between water and sky; dancing with the universe.
