I just got back from the competition tonight and I have so much to say but right now all I can think of is, I <3 you Alicia.
You are a freaking superstar!!!

So Alicia competed this past weekend at the Covergirl Classic meet. Given how much time she was away from the sport of gymnastics and considering that this was her first meet back, she looked awesome! I think I finally found someone that's willing to go to, or rather meet me in Hartford for Nationals! I found her on craigslist of all places too. She's 28, lives in CT, and is a former gymnast! I've emailed/texted/IMed with her a bit over the past 3 days and she seems really cool and sweet. So I thought I was pretty close to finding someone to road trip with me to the US Gymnastics Championships in August but now that looks like it's not going to happen. I would love to find someone to go with so that I don't have to make the trip alone but people either have no interest, are short on funds, or they don't want to spend time hanging ( Read more... )
