I know, I suck
First, I know I was supposed to post a full report about Nationals that for one reason or another I can't seem to get motivated to write. I think part of it is that I'm sad it's already come and gone and while I had an absolutely wonderful 3 days in CT, it's a bit melancholy to write about now. I really did enjoy everything about it, the gymnastics was awesome to watch, Hartford was a nice clean place to visit and my friend Cindy that I met turned out to be everything that I had hoped for. Oh and Alicia was spectacular but...who would expect anything else!

It saddens me to continuously read stores like this about misunderstanding and intolerance, and this one from a person's own family no less! And people want to know why I don't tell my close family and friends about my cross-dressing and other interests. I'm sure there's lots of other people in my boat and it's not a fun place to be sometimes. And stories like this one only serve to reinforce those feelings of uneasiness. *sigh*.
