I don't actually have much to say today. Just all the tiny details of the day that grow out of proportion when nothing much else is happening. Yesterday was the first day to reach 20C and coincided with the first day that they pumped heated air con into my office. Today its cold air and I'm freezing. Well, um, yeah that would be an idea .... Maybe I should do it anyway ie beyond the next 2 days to sort of give the message that I need the desk etc. Should have a phoneline long enough to reach ...

Might do that tonight (after I clean up from the dog..) - thanks!

That would *totally* get me motivated - if I could see the computer! Plus I have curtains now so I could leave it set up.

knitting needle problem can be solved with drinking straws and rubber bands...
Pilfer some rubber bands from work and grab a handful of straws the next time you are left unwatched in front of a dispenser at the pub.
wrap rubber band around one end, poke end of knitting needle into other end, slide knitting off onto straw, and cap it with another rubber band.
Maccas straws are great for chunky knits.
