An anonymous someone (who are you?) urged me ( a bit snottily, frankly) to read Factory Theatre AD Ken Gass' comments on Alec Scott's lament about the state of Canadian theatre. Rusks and hagel or muisjes (froot loop tasting things like your chocolate hagel) used to be my favourite breakfast thing back when I was a kid. Never had much of a like for droop (licorice) though. Blegh.

Where is this place exactly? There used to be a Dutch store on Kennedy Rd. near St. Clair (I think?) but its long gone and I'd kill for some kroket with mustard right about now.

It's waaaaay out on Weston Rd., north of Lawrence. They have DELICIOUS kroket (that got eaten before I could photograph them) handmade by a woman in Peterborough (since they can't import meat products from Holland - the mustard is imported from Holland, though. Yum!)
