Factory Theatre AD Ken Gass' comments on Alec Scott's
lament about the state of Canadian theatre. I have, and I'm in the midst of formulating a thoughtful (I hope) response, and also rereading Scott's column very carefully. In the meantime, check out the adventure in Dutch food I had this weekend!
The Holland Store is way the hell out on Weston Rd., pretty much next door to the airport. Well, not quite. But still. It's far west.
They have a wide selection of salty black licorice candies.

They are delicious for breakfast, especially when covered in chocolate toast sprinkles. Yes, Dutch people eat chocolate for breakfast. These are obviously my kind of people.
