So I took JKR's WOMBAT test over the weekend.  Have any of y'all done that yet?  The questions were hard compared to last time!  After I got done, I went back and checked my answers using my copy of Fantastic Beasts as well as The HP Lexicon.  She wound up using questions that were pretty damn impossible to check!  Even the one about a werewolf's ( Read more... )

Yes, of course, I love the books.  But that's not why I adore Jo Rowling.

Today she updated her website and the three posts perfectly illustrate why I think she's simply a wonderful person:

1) She uses her influence selectively and positively (see also her previously discussed work with orphans);
