Updates
It's nearly the end of week one. There is some roughness. Eventually I will be in charge of the 5-8 student assistants but as they know a lot more than me about pretty much everything right now, I'm not in charge of them. I am allowed to ask them to do things but I'm getting some attitude from a couple of them. That's frustrating because I'm not being unreasonable in what I'm asking of them and if they were to offer a reason why they can't do what I ask, I would probably accept it with no problem. I'm irritated with heavy sighs from them. It's not as though I'm not doing anything myself.
I'm trying to keep my frustrations from being evident since I haven't slept in 36 hours as of now and must remain awake at least until 5. Next week, I'm calling the doctor again, this not sleeping thing doesn't work for me. Being doped up doesn't work either.
Oh, and the acting director has a really annoying, loud laugh. And a habit of sneaking up behind me and startling me. I hate that.
I'm going to lunch.
