Well, medical seems to be the theme of the day. This morning I went to the NYU hospital site in Lower Manhattan next to Trinity Church to help out a friend and contemplated the fact that one of NYC's oldest cemeteries is right next door ( Read more... )

I could not do your job. Thanks for doing what the rest of us wusses can't! I can handle stuff, but not on an ongoing basis, like you do. How do you not totally stress out?

Wow, that qualifies as a rough day. I am not sure how I reacted. I generally don't do well in emergencies, so probably not too well.

You can add my lovely weird sugar imbalance today, too. It's been tornadoy weather so I didn't get to the store...which means my sugars were borked from not having adequate energy (the trip to TN this weekend) and not wanting to drive. So, uh, I don't know what happened between 6-10:30pm. Nooo idea. I was awake, and then sound asleep with my two dogs beside me.

Today? Not a good day in general.
