Having fun plotting darkly whether I can go home on Sunday to see my brother, rescue my leather jacket, dominatrix boots, black velvet hotpants and dungarees (every Finalist needs these things) and join the extended family for lunch. Feel I must rave briefly about 'V for Vendetta' which my brother insisted I watch last night. It's BRILLIANT. It taps into about a dozen things I like - dystopia, childish fable, mask-and-disguise, good-guy British detective plot, almost justified violence, pyrotechics, Stephen Fry, clever direction, jazz, humour and really cute lesbians ( Read more... )

Little is happening here. I'm listening to BBC 7 and playing Knytt (which has the huge advantage that I can play it AND see who's talking to me on MSN). My sleep-patterns are shot to pieces for no reason, and I keep sleeping till midday.

And I have a deeply cute Userpic. Life in Warwick has reached the point that this is News.

Good news. My brother is home, back from Edinburgh, bringing chocolate and astoundingly little luggage, and bright ideas for Christmas presents. I get on very well with my brother, he's possibly the relative I'm closest to.
