Feel I must rave briefly about 'V for Vendetta' which my brother insisted I watch last night. It's BRILLIANT. It taps into about a dozen things I like - dystopia, childish fable, mask-and-disguise, good-guy British detective plot, almost justified violence, pyrotechics, Stephen Fry, clever direction, jazz, humour and really cute lesbians.
You have to see it.
Have volunteered to cook Christmas dinner tomorrow night. (Mother doesn't believe in spending Christmas day cooking, so we have a meal on Christmas Eve to get it out of the way, and snack on sandwiches on Christmas day. It's a good system.)
Now it is too late to tell people who are interested, I keep thinking of things I would quite like for Christmas.
