ARGH!!! Rant post.
I love award shows. Emmys, Oscars, People's Choice...anything involving movies and tv...and I like to go on Facebook and do a running commentary. I like to share my reactions happy and sad. It's what I do.
Then I have this distant relative in Vancouver on the West coast. I hardly ever talk to her. Apparently, the Emmys are delayed over there...which is odd because it's live in California...and all the tv networks are posting on Facebook about the results and everything.
So I wrote a status saying the name of the actor who won comedy series actor (in case someone hasn't seen the Emmys and might get mad at me too) and she wrote a super snarky remark about how 'some people don't get to watch it yet'. So I said that she shouldn't go on Facebook because lots of people are talking about it. And then she said, "Well you are the only one I am friend with in te east and the only one watching it."
SERIOUSLY??? I look forward to these shows so much! Are you seriously going to take something away from me as trivial as posting about the Emmys like every single tv show and network currently is on Facebook? >_< You suck for taking something I love doing away from me :'(
