ANGER AT STUPIDITY

This rant is about FanFiction.Net...more specifically, some commenters on FF.Net...
I just finished read Percy Jackson and the Olympians 5 book series...it was fantastic and has an amazing canon couple Percy and Annabeth. So obviously I want more so I turn to fanfiction. I always first scope out livejournal communities for the ships I want to read as they always have better writers but the two Percy/Annabeth communities require permission before joining so I was stuck turning to FF.Net...I sifted through some awful awful awful writing that makes me squirm at how awful it is.
Then, right before I am about to give up and wait for the membership acceptances, I find an awesome fic. It is so awesome , realistic, perfect characterization, funny, sad, happy, so so adorable and yes, some smut. But beautifully well-written, realistic, tasteful smut since they are older teens. It is of course, labeled M for mature. The title is: Four Times Percy and Annabeth Almost Have Sex and contains the warning: "Warnings: In case you couldn't tell by the title, this fic deals with mature subject matter and is sexually explicit. If you're not old enough to read it or are uncomfortable with the subject matter, stop reading now." Right at the start.
SO WHY THE HELL DOES IT HAVE FLAMING REVIEWS ABOUT HOW INAPPROPRIATE IT IS??????? Someone wrote this: i am a percabeth fan yes but this i read this the first part and half the second i could not get to sleep well i did but that is not the point they are 17 and well surly not but no are you even a percabeth fan surly not it is wrong they are just kids still its like ben 10 and some girl but we are talking about percabeth i am still shaking as i am writing this i absalutly hated this its pure crap well percy and annabeth are not pure crap but them doing it is. Ok, 1. Your spelling is atrocious and 2. Your grammar is awful and 3. WHY THE HELL DID YOU CLICK ON THE LINK WHEN IT HAD THIS NAME??

I gess I'm too young 2 b reading this... and that waz soo wierd and this person is obviously an idiot and can't deal with the word "sex": The title has to be rated K+. If you don't change it, someone might report you. I won't. I'm too nice. :)...again IF YOU HAVE THE SEARCH FILTER SET TO "M" YOU ARE GOING TO GET MATURE CONTENT...and it isn't automatically set to "M"...no siree, you have to physically change the setting to include M rated fics.
This one takes the cake: I think it's a little too explicit for a series that's specifically geared towards children, but other than that it was amazingly done. Nicely characterized, too, and I think that's probably tough when you're writing something M-rated. If you think it is too explicit for a series that is specifically geared towards children, THEN WHY THE HELL WERE YOU SEARCHING FOR IT????
Some people amaze me with their clueless-ness (yes, that is now a word)...
