Welp, even though I didn't have a costume at the local convention this past weekend, I DID actually win something! I had entered my model of the "Anti-Pesto" Austin van from the Wallace and Grommit movie, "Curse of the Were-Rabbit", and was rewarded with Second-place overall in the Senior (18+) category! I was stunned. This was the first model I had spend time actually "weathering" to make it look like any 50-year-old British vehicle would probably look after a hard working-life, and evidently my efforts paid off. :)
