A random entry
It's past time for another post.
Let's see, my friend who is being cheated by the online scam artist is getting in deeper and deeper. He lied to her that he was coming home from Syria on a particular day, then claimed he got shot by the Taliban on his way to the airport and had to stay in the hospital for three weeks. AND SHE BELIEVED HIM. Then he said he needed money for medical expenses, and she sent it to him. She gave him the money for her house payment this month, her lunch money, and more. Now he claims he can come home from Syria today but needs money for medical exit papers, and she's doing something very foolish to get it for him. Of course he will never come "home" to the U.S. I'm just waiting to see what ridiculous excuse he invents for not showing up.
My computer is still giving me fits. I can't listen to any Big Finish audios because I can't transfer them from the computer onto my mp3 player, and I can't play them from my computer because the sound isn't working. I also can't watch DVDs because of the lack of sound. As for buying a new computer... HA HA HA HA. Not anytime soon. I'll have to limp along on this piece of junk until next year probably. Unless it dies before then.
I got my cat's teeth cleaned. On the plus side, he came through it well and didn't need any extractions. On the negative side, it was expensive, and the cat's blood tests came back with an elevated liver something-or-other level that they want to retest. Which will cost yet more money.
I need to win the lottery. I promise I won't give any of the money to a scam artist!
