Me (in an email to hwaet): You made me laugh a whole lot, which was bad because I'm in the library.
hwaet (replying to said email): I am happy to hear that. Laughing is good. Even in the library. Especially in the library. Libraries are social places that should be enjoyable experiences. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THE LIBRARY! WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU! WE WILL HELP YOU OVERCOME YOUR LIBRARY ANXIETY! WHY ARE YOU RUNNING AWAY?? COME BACK, LITTLE PATRONS!

(A bit of backstory: discordianfox was GMing a game of Changeling last night, and arianadawnhawk's character has a necklace with beads that can be taken off and thrown at things to do fun stuff. Like the weasel/ferret/possibly turtle-shaped bead that brought a small army of weasels to our aid. Later in the game, we were investigating a strange vacuum-type thingy in the middle of a charred circle of carpet, and D.'s character suggested that arianadawnhawk's character throw a bead in the vacuum.)

(She threw in a bead made of a shell, and moments later, a bomb of water exploded from the vacuum and pinned us to the wall for four levels of damage. But we survived, so what the hey.
In this game, our characters also went to a goth club called The Horrible Black Void (Home of the Horrible Black Coffee, the Voidburger, and the Rainbow Fruity Tea of Happiness) and got a bunch of the dancers to dance the goth Hokey Pokey ("You stick your navel piercing in, you chop your right hand off, you do the Hokey Pokey and you [deep growly evil voice]LOSE YOUR SOUL![/deep growly evil voice], that's what it's all about!"). The game was very much fun.)
In other news, I have fallen in love with Red Dwarf. I have also gotten arianadawnhawk addicted to it, and we scare people with our references.
