Why does it feel like the Universe conspired to send me to Japan this year.
- Airplane seat sales left and right, and a budget airline I always use is starting to bring people to Narita and Nagoya (they've only served to Osaka until this year)
- We have L'Arc~en~Ciel's comeback live. at Kokuritsu. for two days. in March.
- The Embassy of Japan in the Philippines is granting multiple entry visas to Filipinos now. It started late last year.
- It's Arashi's 15th Anniversary.
- I've dreamed of attending Rock in Japan Fest ever since I first saw these lives while watching Ajikan and it's RiJF's 15th Anniversary this year. Show's on for two weekends!
I still have no idea how to get a hold of tickets to the L'Arc live (Fan Club members get first dibs next week and ticket sales will open to everyone else in MARCH - 2 weeks before the show itself, SMH) and to the RIJF; more so for the Arashi ones that cost an arm and a leg every time (unless you win ballots against 1.8 million other FC members.) I don't even know if I'm going to be qualified for a multiple entry visa (first timer here, if ever!) so I kinda decided to just wait for Overseas tours and maybe just attend the
Summer Siren Festival or maybe
PULP's Summer Slam (Crossfaith will be there!) in lieu of the RIJF.
Until I received this today:
a chance to watch Luna Sea's 25th Anniv Live!
I entered my registration last month on a whim - not expecting anything, but I'll admit that I had a strong feeling I would be granted access to tickets.
And here we are.
The show's at the end of May. plenty of time to save up and go (compared to the almost-last-notice L'Arc live. /bitter) but there are a lot of considerations. If you look closely I sent an application for two (2) tickets thinking I'll just find someone who wants the other one, but when you think about it, it's not an easy task.
However, if I back out, it's a chance I will have let slip away. As I've always done in the past.
I have seven days to decideand purchase these.
