After I got home from Phoenix I went to my dental surgeon for a consult and he said that I'll need an implant.  BUT!  Since the implant will be in the maxilla (upper jaw bone), certain precaution had to be taken.  He took a really cool (and hella expensive!!) 3D X-ray of my face and found that my maxilla was too thin to support the implant screw.   ( Read more... )
