This has been a rough week for us, but we are anxious to see a new week starting. It's amazing how taking things "one day at a time" becomes meaningful. It is twelve days until Christmas and twelve days until our wedding, and despite our recent hardships we are both unduly excited for what is to come.

He sees it right now. He sees it, I bet, every time he looks at you. I don't think he would say it if he did not truly believe.
We never really go, you know. We live on and live through the memories and hearts of people who love us.
He'll see it.

Even if you hit the floor and shatter, the person you are now will reach out to put those pieces back into order. I can't be nice and say all the preparation in the world will make everything simple, it won't, but it will give you a place to stand and reach for what you need to get yourself back together.
One day at a time, and the mantra 'this will be all right, one way or another', those always worked for us.

I can't tell you exactly how or in what way Bill has changed or affected my life, just that he has. At 47 my life has been affected, changed, altered many times and in many ways by different people. Sometimess radically, sometimes more subtely. Suffice to say, that knowing Bill has enriched my life, if for no other reason than 1)His experiences remind me to count my blessings and 2)He is a nice bloke and clever with it...
I hope very much that you he and get to enjoy your Christmas and your wedding, and that both days are all that you both hope for.
Thinking of you both..a lot.
