if i stick my head out my window and look left, this is what i see!
jealous? that's arthur's seat in the background. i walked up there after i took this picture. not all the way up the seat but close. there are lots of hills in that park (it's big!) so i walked along the crags and took this picture:
one day i saw a pink limo. the colour's fucked in this picture but that's ok! this was just down the street from my hostel... pretty typical of streets here on the hill.
i'm going to start looking for a job soon, maybe! it's so easy to walk around and sit in the park all day... i was so happy that the sun came out yesterday, but not happy that i realised that my sunglasses are gone. i need to find a picture of me wearing them, or a bank statement, for proof of ownership for the insurance claim. i am really mad! sad. unglad.
scottish broom smells like coconut! yesterday edinburgh smelled like gravy made from sweat. it was rather unpleasant, but ignorable. i asked a lady at the front desk and was informed that the smell happens about once a week -- it's from the breweries. i can accept that reason!
i opened up a bank account yesterday! it was much easier than i had been led to believe. apparently they (hsbc) just changed their policy. on friday i can go and get my card from them.
i brought the wrong nailclippers and my nails are too long. now is for dinner! should i go buy beer? most likely!
