Mugsy has lymphoma
Mugsy has been getting sick and although the intial x-ray was clear we had an MRI done to look for further problems. What follows is something my husband wrote. I'm too brain weary to write about it. This has been a very taxing month.
A few more details.
Lymphoma is the best guess of the doc who examined him. What's causing the immediate problem is a thickened section of bowel that is making him vomit. We still need some labs back to be sure.
We've also been referred to an animal oncologist who can provide a better picture of where to go from here.
Mugsy is home and the plan for now is just to make sure he gets enough calories and nutrition. He is pretty much still his normal self so far.
