Okay. So I understand that there's this meme going around involving posting awesome women that we have in our icon collections. This is in response to a rapidly-becoming-infamous flowchart in which all female characters save those who fit in a very narrowly construed category were dismissed. New icon, courtesy of mhari. We started talking about Gimli and Hermione over at deleterius, and how the two always seem to be hostile to Mary Sues. And mhari concocted this. I wish I could do that.

Something wonky is going on with LJ. My Doyle icon, which I had saved, is gone. Vanished. Vaporized. This is not world-shaking, but it is annoying, nonetheless.
