I made a zergling for a friend of mine who I met in a game, and this was my biggest project yet! I only started needle felting in the last few months, and so far have made a few pokemon to learn basic shaping, but nothing quite as challenging as this!

If you guys remember, I asked for help on a Mario cross stitch project for my friend Jessica for her baby's room a while back. I ended up sketching everything I found online (I'm SO not a gamer, so I relied on my google-fu for this) in the shape of letters for the baby's name (Micah), and added other decorative elements in as well, just for fun; ( Read more... )

Hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster :) I love seeing everybody's geeky creations, so here's one of mine! This is a plushie version of the Weighted Companion Cube from the game Portal (and soon to be Portal 2)! It measures 15" across each face and is as close to life-size as I could figure from the game. Enjoy!
