TV commentary:
Lovecraft Country- This ep was kinda... awkward with regards to Atticus. Like, he was all, "Your friend was a commie spy, I was following orders, who knows how many lives that saved?" Orders or not, killing innocent nurses to flush out a spy is fucked up! Because technically even though she said he killed her best friend, he didn't. He killed some rando. Like, her friend prolly did die, but I doubt it was at Atticus' hands personally. (Though I guess when she looked through his memories accidentally, he was participating in Young's torture)
But yeah, I was worried when she showed up at the base things were going to take a dark turn when his friend led her to a dark tent, but then it was just Atticus showing her that movie she wanted to see.
Anyways, that's messed up he didn't even remember almost putting a bullet in Ji-Ah before her friend admitted being the spy. But heh, having encountered her in her Kumiho form, no wonder he's more willing to roll with all the crazy shit on the show.
