TV commentary:
Elseworlds- Heh, I know its an artifact of Supergirl starting on a different network, but it sure does make these crossovers weird. Like apparently there's been and Alex and Jimmy on Earth One this whole time?! Plus they're weird about the nature of these alternate worlds. Like it was sweet that even Earth-1 Alex manages to bond with Kara, but there's no reason she should have the same experiences (albeit one year later).
Same with Kate Kane. So apparently Kara knows Bruce Wayne/Batman on her Earth through Clark. But that's Earth-38 Bruce. And its weird for her and Kate to be talking about Bruce as if they're talking about the same person. Again, why would they necessarily be the same person? After all, there's multiple other worlds where good guys are evil. So their Bruces could have totally different personalities!
Heh, and they conveniently came up with a way to resolve Superman not being around to help with things. Lois is preggers, and since a Kryptonian half-breed in her belly could actually kill her, they're going to go up to Argo City and live there for a while. Which means only SG gets to deal with this growing anti-alien sentiment burgeoning on Earth-38.
