TV commentary:
She-Ra- Watched this over the weekend on Netflix. Its fine for what it is, but its still a kids show. Heh, the most amusing thing to me was when they introduced Mermista, I was thinking, she totally seems like Heather from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. That's because it totally was her, duh!
Supergirl- Hmm, wonder what's going on there with Nia?
I mean, I believe the sleeping has to do with her powers, which she's passed off as narcolepsy. But does she really think she has narcolepsy, or is she covering? Because Jimmy, Kara and her mom try to get her help, but she plays it off, saying she already has a doctor, or that she just got here and hasn't found a new one yet, to obviously making shit up to Mrs. Danvers. So does she actually know what's going on then?
Wait, is Lena going to unleash some crazy creation accidentally when trying to come up with something to protect Jimmy?
Also, where's Manchester's powers? It seems weird for him to be going all Punisher and just shooting people.
Doctor Who- I disagree with people's assessments!
Saying the Doc killed Charlie, I don't think she did at all. She did her best to save him. Like she was doing what she could to prevent tens of thousands of people from blowing up. I mean, its always been the Doctor's way to save everyone, sometimes failing. The way people talk, they make it sound like she trapped him with the bombs all, "Smell you later, loser!"
Charlie was trying to make sure this murderous plan went through, and so was too far away for the Doctor to save. That being said, it was weird for the Doctor to defend the Kerblam computer for killing Kira. All, "Oh, by letting you see your crush blow herself up with one of your bombs, it was trying to show you how the relatives of all the people you are about to kill would feel!" That's fucked up, and that seemed OOC for the Doctor to be nonchalant about.
NCIS:LA- I get where they're coming from, but its not like their hands are clean.
So the only reason the team wasn't disbanded after Mexico was because someone said they're the kind of team that's up for anything. Which they say they aren't. Like the Mexico stuff, that was to rescue a kid. What about when they went to save Hetty on three separate occasions over the years? Going to Prague, Vietnam, etc?
Yes, they aren't assassins. And they don't want to be finding targets for some other shadowy agency to torture or kill. But to be fair, there's a very thin line between what they do and these other agencies. Like they can't say they're not killers, because they have a LOT of blood on their hands. What, they think their shit don't stink because they didn't go in to a case with the intention of killing everybody, even though more often then not, that's what they end up doing?
