TV commentary:

Supernatural- Heh, I'm amused the start of this ep was straight out of a Hallmark movie. Looks like Jack has a necromancer stalker now? Harper wants revenge for them killing her zombie boyfriend, but at the same time, she has a thing for Jack now. So she's going to kill him, and then bring him back so they can be together forever.

Of course, Jack is already dying of whatever mysterious illness he has, collapsing after coughing up blood in the Bunker in front of Dean.

Sam and Charlie have a case, where we get some back story on this version of her. She was still a programmer for Roman Enterprises. Which interesting, I guess since the Winchesters were never around in that world, the Leviathans never got out, so Dick Roman was just some dude? So this Charlie was never a hunter, finding love with a girl who owned a bakery, who tragically died in the chaos that happened when the Angel war started.

She was killed by looters, so Charlie is not so up on people anymore. So, after doing a few cases here until things died down, she wanted to just retire to a mountain retreat (with wifi). Sam manages to convince her not to, but if she wants to live on her own, that's her prerogative! I get what he says about people needing family, but I think she's in a different situation than the flymonster they were fighting. She has a legit reason to not trust.

Also, his whole, "you're gonna give up the hunting life? can you really do it?" thing was also not exactly applicable. Like, he got drawn back in because that's who he is, he can't leave well enough alone. I mean, Charlie seems like a good person, but she's gone through trauma, so it may be easier to ignore things unless it directly affects her.

Legacies- Weird, so Supernatural makes an Archie reference, and here MK has a dream about Grodd? What's with all the cross-CW references all of a sudden? Anyways, gross. Dana's corpse was like one of the most horrifying things ever. Like I did not need to see her die in such a horrible manner.

Also, was she not actually dead yet, until she puked her guts out? Because they thought she was transitioning. I mean, I guess Caleb didn't give her any of his blood, because he had no desire to turn her, but its weird that she got up after seemingly being dead. Also dead, her jocko boyfriend, who the spider monster decided to inhabit (or at least his skin).

But heh, Lizzie is such a dork. I mean, her dramatics are actually kinda hilarious. Like it was one thing to make her "if it pleases the court" in front of her dad, Josie, and Hope in the privacy of the library last week. But going up in front of the entire school all, "I volunteer as tribute!" is so weird.

Its interesting, because as I said before, I initially pegged Lizzie as the cool, popular one, and Josie as the wallflower, quiet one. But honestly, between Penelope and Raf (ooh, Lizzie's going to be mad at that!), Josie can get it. Lizzie is kinda this neurotic weirdo with anxiety/anger issues.

MG seems to like her though. That was weird though, he failed to compel that MF cheerleader, and he played it off as being distracted by Lizzie, but that's not how compulsion works! (or fails to work!) Is that what really happened, or will there be some other explanation on why that girl wasn't compelled. Because Caleb seems to be compelling other cheerleaders just fine.

Also, Landon being shocked at Hope being so popular at MF high immediately since his experience was so crappy. Well, you're this weirdo loser, and Hope is a pretty white girl with big tits and a cool, mysterious personality. Of course people are going to like her more!

Owel, looks like the events of this ep have put Alaric and Matt at odds. You know, the more I think about it, the school is interesting, and the process makes sense for witches, and to a certain extent, wolves because they're born with these traits, and need to learn how to be. Vampires though, they're made. Its kinda disturbing if you think about it, but every vamp kid at that school was murdered by some vamp.

And its not like vamps exclusively kill kids, there should be plenty of adults who transition and need to learn how to become a vampire. But I guess the school doesn't teach them because they're too old.

Even the wolf thing is kinda weird. Like Jed is the alpha at the school, but the mythos of the TVD universe have lycanthropy be a hereditary thing. I guess this school could be for orphans like Raf, who don't have the benefit of a family pack to teach them. But it is crazy the number of kids at this school then, who are 1) orphans and 2) killed someone to trigger their curse. Obviously, most of them prolly aren't actual murderers, but its like geez, how many of these kids get into fatal car accidents so as to trigger the curse without being some sort of homicidal maniac.

And hey, Gemini coven mention! Good to see these past eps they have highlighted the fact that the twins are siphoners and can't do magic on their own. I

Heh, and what's with the insect guts this night, first Charlie and Sam getting covered in the gunk from killing the fly monster, then Hope and the twins from the spider monster.
