TV commentary:
Scream Queens- Well that was neatly tied up.
So, turns out Dean Munsch doesn't have Kuru. Thanks to Chanel #5's newfound medical skills, she determines Munsch is just severely dehydrated, as all she drinks is alcohol. Which is bad news for Brock, who had been convinced to marry her by Hester, in the hopes that she would kick the bucket soon and therefore get her money when she dies.
In any case, Munsch has no time to celebrate her new lease on life, as Hoffel lures everyone (the Chanels except for Hester, who ran off, Munsch, Cassiday and Brock) into the basement to get blown up by a fertilizer bomb (an idea she got from Moebius girl, who had mentioned the swamp is full of highly flammable gas) Cassidy's mom also shows up- Cassidy had chosen Chanel #3 and stopped killing. Jane was livid at first and wanted to team up with Hoffel. But Hoffel refused, and Zayday convinces Jane that Cassidy quitting the whole killing thing is a good thing. And so they go to the hospital and Jane sees that the hospital is doing good now and she turns over a new leaf.
Too bad Hoffel shoots her. But she does apologize to her son for making him a killer before she dies and respects his decision to stop killing. Anyways, Hoffel leaves the gang to die. Lucky for them, when Hoffel set up the bomb, she unplugged Denise's machine, and so she wakes up in time to save them.
They catch up to Hoffel and chase her. She tosses a machete at Chanel #3, which Cassidy jumps in front of and dies. Heh, the others are all, "dude, you could've just pushed Chanel #3 out of the way!" HA!
Anyways, Hoffel falls into some quicksand. The gang is ready to let her die, but Munsch tries to save her, to no avail.
So with the killers all dead, turns out its happy endings all around. Munsch and Brock end up breaking up, though they both end up happy. Hester had ended up stealing Munsch's money in the chaos, and Brock runs off with her to Blood Island where they do end up hunting waylaid tourists for sport. Meanwhile, Munsch sells the hospital to get some money to become a highly successful sex therapist for older women in Aspen.
Zayday and Chanel #5 end up being the new hot shots of the hospital with Chanel #5 being a savant at diagnosing and Zayday doing a kick ass job at administrating. Chanel of course has her show, which has been changed to "Loving the C", with Chanel #5 as her producer/Gayle Waters. In the end though, Chanel goes into her car after a show, and the Red Devil is there, ready to kill her. But whatever, she's the star of the show, and she didn't last time either. Though if that was a real new killer, surely its Grace, since she's like the only one with a grudge against them left.
Crazyhead- So binged Crazyhead on Netflix. Its by the folks who did Misfits, and is slightly Buffy-esque. I enjoyed it.
Heh, tumblr seems to be split on it, since there is a bit of what they feel is queerbaiting going on with Amy and Suzanne (and they were kinda pissed when Suzanne seemingly died in episode 4) and then Amy and Raquel. I mean, they both screw around with dudes, but then they profess their love for each other and even kiss, but then afterwards qualify they're totally not gay. Which I think irked some tumblr folks.
But yeah, good set up for the second season, with a bunch of people getting possessed and escaping out into the world, so the girls have that to do. Though, I'm curious, do they exorcise them, or do they only bother doing that for people they care about, like Jake? In any case, it does look like Suzanne is still alive, which is cool.
