One benefit of having a best friend whose partner is a VP at Clear Channel Radio is getting frequent updates on the weather directly from the National Weather Service when you are trying to plan a fabuolusly fun birthday weekend with said best friend(except for that one birthday a few years ago, but that's a whole 'nother story).

Max's birthday was a rousing success. Too many kids in an enclosed space at one time for my taste, especially Nathan's little cousin Sidney, but it was a fun day and Max seemed to have a lot of fun and that's all that mattered.

The weekend as fun. ChrisS's show kicked ass. I had a fabulous "kitchen sink" bison burger at Ted's. I slow danced with Michelle  three times at a honkytonk on Printer's Alley. I did not get any beefcake pics for Lisa because my friends would not leave the honky tonk(some of whom profess not to like country music) to meet my other friends at Tribe ( Read more... )

Well, Chris H will be here in a couple of hours for dinner with Mom, Aunt Nancy, Magaret, Max, Tomie Melissa, Nelda and I at local favorite, You and Me Cafe. Afterward, Chris and I will be heading to Nashville for the weekend. Chreis S's band plays tonight at the Smokehouse, so that will be our first stop.
