So weeks after most colleges start Northwestern finally decided to start classes, coincidentally the same day autumn begins. My class lineup includes:
- Material Science 201: An introductory course to material science. What is material science? You'll just have to take this class to find out.
- EA4: The fourth and final course in the Engineering Analysis sequence, this course covers differential equations and their various applications to engineering. The fourth year of UMTYMP will come in handy here.
- Thermodynamics (Mat Sci 314): A material science oriented approach to learning about the ever so exciting world of thermodynamics.
- Psychology 101: My "easy" course. This class is probably the largest class offered at NU, completely filling up Ryan Auditorium (600+ people). The professor who teaches is supposed to be awesome and a leader in the field. From what I can tell today, it should be a pretty neat class and a nice break from my crazy math and science courses.
Totally lucked out for tomorrow: no classes. Normally I'll have two labs on Thursdays but since it's the first week, nothin'. Alrighty then, back to figuring out how to configure my room . . .
