Hello everyone.
Happy Valentine's Day.
I haven't been on Live Journal in a long time because of my busy schedule: a 17 credit hour semester and a job at Burger King. Yes, I am still doing fast food. One of my co-workers, William (the cute one I mentioned on here before) worked there for 2 years, quit, and now he's back. If he can work at a fast food place for that long, then I can! Now I can't quit even if I wanted to! I know....I know......this is letting someone control my life. As far as I'm concerned, he can rule over me any day! LOL.
At the beginning of the semester, ( I think it was the first week), during lunch at school, William took me in his car to Wendy's to eat. It was so wonderful! After that, he went to a car wash to wash his car.
Speaking of his car, he bought it right off the bat for at least 2,000 dollars. (I can't remember the exact amount, but I do recall the price was at least $2,000.) That's what I want to do. I don't want to have to worry about a car payment; thus, I want to buy a vehicle upfront with cash.
William told me his dad helped him out with buying the car. His dad used to work for Burger King as a maintiance person, and William told me he was making more money than the managers. Hmmm.......maybe that's how his dad was able to help him out.
If I remember correctly, I have at least 1,500 dollars saved up. I really want my own vehicle. It sucks having to rely on my parents to drive me back and forth to places. Oh well. The saying goes that good things happen to people who wait.
About work again, I'm getting upset and a little paranoid.
I know how to push in the amount customers give me, and then push the CASH button to see how much to give back. However, my drawer still came up $30 short. Then I found out out a $20 bill was found on the floor. And the night my drawer came up short, I saw one of the mananagers in my drawer. She was hurringly grabbing bills. I figure she needed money for drive-thru. However, it was so busy, and I think she forgot to put the same amount of money back in my drawer. For example, if Drive-thru runs out of $1 bills, and they need them, they can borrow 10 one dollar bills from my drawer, but they must give me the same amount in return, just in different form, such as 2 five dollar bills or one 10 dollar bill.
Burger King is getting busier because of the so called "summer business" (it's still winter!). Perhaps the busy work is causing people to forget things, such as returning borrowed money in the appropriate drawer. Also, when I was clocked out, I noticed my name was still on the register! OMG! As soon as I clock out, my name should be taken off!
Well, this money shortage apparently caused me to not be able to close the next night I had to work. Instead, William took my place. Grrr.........that made me mad. He says he's never been short, and that he's perfect; he's the master. Ok..........whatever. He knows how to do most everything, but then again he's been at Burger King for over two years now! Of course he knows what to do! I'm been at Burger King for about 5 months now. For some reason, I have not been told to pay the money back. Also, last time I worked, after I clocked out, I looked at the register, and noticed someone else's name on it. So, that's good. I'm still paranoid though. I get the feeling there's a conspiracey at BK that allows managers to make money off of gullable, obedient kids. One girl has already quit because she got tired of having to pay money back due to cash shortages. Like I said before, I can't quit, because I feel I should be committed to work there for at least 2 years. I know I can do it!
Well, that's it for now. I'll try to update more often.

P.S.-I wonder if Cupid will visit me tonight?
