An Update:
Hello everyone......and Journal.
I believe this is the 7th week of school for me, and next week would be mid-term. There's one class, Sociology, where I havne't even had a test yet! However, I'm supposed to take one in that class this Wednesday. It's about time! Ok....let's talk grade-wise. In College Algebra, College Algebra Lab, and English Composition II, I know I have A's. In Trig., it's most likely a B. I don't know about Computer Science Orientation, the Computer Science Lab, or Sociology. I'm worried about the two computer classes. I know that I'll definately have to be more committed in order to do well in those courses. Well, the same thing goes for Trig. The test this week in Sociology will most likely determine my midterm grade in there; I have had to do only one homework assignment so far.
Last Monday, I realised I was getting sick: runny nose, bad sinuses, and coughing. Actually, the coughing didn't start until a few days ago. I still feel like going to school and work, though. I would hate to miss school, and somehow I feel good at work. I guess it's because I'm in the kitchen, and the heat keeps me in a good state. However, instead of my nose bugging me at work, now it's the coughing; that was just last night though. Now, here at school, I feel good, and hopefully the feeling will last at work tonight.
Speaking of work, I haven't seen William, the guy who took me to lunch to Wendy's in January, around lately. And those goes for work and school. He was supposed to show up at (I believe) 4:00 pm this past Friday, but didn't. The manager called him, and then she told me that for some reason he couldn't come to work until Monday. Well, last night I looked at the schedule, and there's X's on all of the days this week for William. I guess he doesn't work at Burger King anymore. I heard he got in trouble, but I don't know for sure. I haven't seen him around school like I used to. I hope nothing bad happened. He's probably having family problems again. I hope to find out more information tonight when I go to work.
One of my co-workers had a wreck on her way to school, so she's off for a few days. I think she's in crutches for now.
Last night. a day-shift person came in and said she couldn't work for a few days because her boyfriend, who does logging business, was hit by a tree, and is in the hospital, and she has to be with him there.
OMG! Hugh..........I hope my computer career will be a safe one!
