The weekend sucked because I couldn't get into London on Sunday, so the day was spent cleaning and trying to entertain myself at home - I started on The Scarlet Letter and watched the Alan Partridge movie, but it felt really empty not getting to socialise much ( Read more... )

It's always nice when an event like this brings a whole nation (and indeed, the world) together, watching it on the TV. I watched the wedding with my family live on the BBC, and it was surprisingly enjoyable, though it was surprising to see how many formalities they had to go through. Last wedding I went to was my cousin's, almost ten years ago. I still remember plenty about it, though.

Pet a snake:
I might have done this; I recall going to some thing when I was a kid when we got shown snakes. I forget if I petted it or not. If not, then it would depend on the type of snake, plus how well supervised it was.
