I worked from home all day yesterday; I didn't get the parcel - I was expecting them to call at the door, but I found out too late that the driver had attempted to call me on my mobile, which is almost always on silent. The news story that has fascinated me this weekend - Banksy putting a shredder in his/her own work, causing it to shred itself, and apparently doubling its value.

Takes subversiveness to a whole new level really.

Life is weirder than satire in times like this.

This lunchtime I went with a group to see a small art exhibition at the Barbican Music Library - it was all Islamic art, though we had a bit of a worry when we thought it had closed early.

The art was all interesting to look at, mostly without people in, which apparently is standard for Islamic art - lots of pictures of dervishes though.
