30 Days of Buffy Challenge, Day 30: Favourite Season Finale
The only Season Finale that is also complete filler happens to be my favourite: Episode 4x22: Restless
Buffy and the Scoobies fall asleep in front of the TV, and the rest of the episode shows their dreams. Most of the episode shows just random stuff, but while all of this happens, the first slayer tries to kill them, Freddy Kreuger like. I love this one for all of the random imagery that appears (Giles and Spike on the swingset for example), and how it all accurately represents how confusing and nonsensical dreams can be. Willow dreams that she's at school, surrounded by characters from the current season like Riley, as though her memory is all confused (Oz also makes a cameo in this scene).
There's also Giles singing, and the cheese man!
Definitely an episode that I can watch again and again.
