Altruistic August: Buddy
Having a friend to meet up with for a swim is always nice; we get on with our own thing in the pool, but good to have a chat before and after, and I thanked him for coming again as we showered afterward.
My Friday night plan was to watch Bellzzz, but I found out too late that the gig was all ticketed, and is also sold out; it was a bummer, but I'll just take the night in.
The other option was to go to an outdoor screening of the Barbie Movie, but that film doesn't really appeal to me.
