Jump Back Up July: Routine Stuff

Jul 17, 2024 18:05

I took that walk yesterday evening; I spotted a lot of tiny butterflies, but they were too small and too fast to get a proper look at and maybe log for the Big Butterfly Count.

I spotted this on my way into work this morning; must be related to menopause awareness.

So, today I've been wondering how I can use my strengths at work; a lot of tedious chores involving GIS, and I think what I tried to use was my attention to detail, commitment to getting things done as best as possible, and ability to persevere, as well as think about things from all angles.

We had a Teams call about the Big Butterfly Count today; it was all stuff I'd heard before, but still useful.

Lunch at the Moorgate talk was a mixed buffet of all sorts of stuff, the vegan thai green curry, with pizzas and this time sausage and mash.

Lunch is a routine, so I took this picture for the photo_scavenger "routine" prompt ("touch" is still outstanding).

(Edit: I think I may submit my picture at the crossing for "touch", just because it has a button on it for touching - I might see first if something better comes up)

This afternoon consisted of just a meeting and me trying to work out what I need to do next.

On Strava, I have climbed 548m for the July Running Elevation Challenge, and saved 5kg of carbon for the July Commute Challenge.
