Jump Back Up July: The Big Butterfly Count

Jul 17, 2023 17:35

I've been a little un-busy at work lately, so I had a look at a list of files that can probably be deleted from our drive. Unfortunately, I'm not that IT literate, and many of the file types mean nothing to me, so just trying to come up with the best guesses I can, like "maybe we can get rid of this, but we should check with X what exactly it is".

I never want to break a system unnecessarily.

I'm wondering how I can use my skills with the , which I attended a briefing about today; a small group of us even went outside to look at spots where we might see butterflies - just caught one fluttering away. It sounds interesting, and I think I might need to hone my abilities to observe things; I often spot things that other people don't notice. So, we'll be going out and logging butterflies we see - there's an app to use, though I haven't quite got my head around it yet. I did go out in my lunch break to look for butterflies, and even tried again on my way back to the station.

On Strava, I have now logged:
* 11km for the R.A.D® "Shoe Addict" Challenge; and
* 1,105m of climbing for the July Run Climbing Challenge.
