Yesterday I did a recce for a walk that I hope to lead with the Stag Walkers; I wouldn't call it a majorly remarkable route, but it provided some nice landscapes and scenery.
View towards horse paddocks.
I must have been across this viaduct a couple of times on the train, but not even noticed it.
I stopped off briefly at a pub for a beer, but had my usual dilemma of getting the train that's just half an hour away, or the one that I'll have to wait an hour for. I chose the former, mostly to get back before the after school rush, and also because I wanted to cast my vote for the local election.
Today, I've got to find ways to show someone how much I appreciate them; I'll have to think of a good way to do this.
On Strava, I have completed the Montane, Cancer Research UK and Body Coach Challenge, and logged:
* 31km for Sports Direct Mara Month (it doesn't include hiking in its criteria);
* Almost 3 hours for H&M Move #HoweverYouMove Challenge;
* 1 of 4 weeks for the May Indoor Workout Challenge;
* 35km for Mammut Race to Net Zero; and
* 33km for the May Walking Distance Challenge.
Tomorrow, I start:
* Eight Sleeps 100 Challenge (requires 1 hour 40 minutes of activity);
* Maurten On the Up Challenge (climb 1,000m); and
* Le Col Giro Challenge (log 4 hours and 10 minutes of activity).
