A good Mindfulness quote from the Daily Calm - a little open to interpretation, but I would say that it refers to not letting little things become an obsession for me, letting them wash over me.
I've seen lots of pictures of Liverpool and their backwards baseball cap army looking happy at their open top bus tour; at least they're not letting Saturday night get them down. They're the sort of group I'd love to go out for a beer with!
Work went well okay; its always amusing when I mention to one of the other guys that I've bought in food to share (biscuits) from my holiday, and his reaction is basically "take me to it". After initially planning to stay in tomorrow night, I've accepted a tentative proposal to go to the pub tomorrow night.
It seems that once again the Christian network meeting that I stopped attending is going to be on my floor this week; I'm not in that day, but I'm wondering if they just ran out of rooms or decided to subtly stalk me, what with our floor being the least accessible spot in the building. I'm contemplating which desk is easiest to hide from people that I don't want to speak to.
I've started two Strava challenges that appear to specify running or cycling, but don't seem to be exclusive to those modes. Thus, I've completed the Brooks Global Running Day Challenge (required just 5km) and I've also logged 49 minutes out of 4 hours for the Cafe du Cycliste Caravan Challenge. I've also managed to climb 578m for the MAAP Transcend Vert Challenge. My last walk logged was cut off though, as Dad pocket dialled me as I walked out of the station.
This week's
photo_scavenger prompt (messy) was too easy; I just need to look at my kitchen to realise that I need to sort things out a little.
