Today, we come full circle back to Mindful March, and I'm resolving to be more mindful, and kinder, this month.
So not making a fuss, even when a meeting goes on too long because everyone talks too much, or when the guy I'm having lunch with is almost half an hour late.
These both happened today, in case you're wondering. The meeting did at least help with confidence over doing a presentation later this month, and we did have a decent lunch, in a slightly busy Pret a Manger.
The latest
photo_scavenger prompt is "peaceful", and I think Exchange Square looked quite peaceful on my site visit today, all to do with making sure our rights of way mapping is correct (they just refurbished it completely).
I managed to complete the Shokz challenge on Strava. I also:
*Managed my second of four 20 minute walks; and
*Walked 7km of 50km for the March Walking Distance Challenge.
Dad came round tonight, and gave me my birthday presents (chocolates and shortbread; sounds delicious). We watched the FA cup game between Peterborough United and Manchester City. I'm a little disappointed at going out 2-0, but not really surprised, and at least it wasn't any worse.
I was less than impressed when Darren Ferguson got sacked for the third time; I hope Grant McCann manages to pull them out of the relegation zone.
I also got my National Trust membership pack tonight; exciting stuff.
