Happier January: The Road Less Taken

Jan 13, 2022 14:12

I officially switched my default browser this morning, from Firefox to Microsoft Edge; I was half through making a little edit to my earlier Livejournal post, and it just became crashy.

Work went quick this morning, and I had a meeting before lunch, discussing one of my reports, which is always good for catching up with colleages.

I took a walk this lunchtime along a route I don't normally take; I'd never walked through this spot before, but it was nice and peaceful.

On one of the estates they have these mushroom-like structures (or sculptures) that intrigued me. There was one that was painted, so it looked nicer, but as I moved into get a picture, I spotted the top of a man's head moving around just over the adjacent garden wall. I got a bit nervous that the man would spot me and wonder what I was doing.

My fear of being watched occasionally stops me getting some nice shots.

I have now logged approximately 23 hours and 45 minutes for the Strava Fresh Start Challenge.
