New Ways November: Run for Thanks

Nov 04, 2021 08:03

The Brunswick Centre looked nice, and ready for Christmas, last night.

I realised yesterday that my walk from the station wasn't quite one mile, but I managed to do my mile a day with my site visits.

I completed the 5k running challenge on Strava with my morning run, and managed my one mile for today. I was taking advantage of the fact that at the moment I can go out earlier for my run because of change back to GMT.

I managed to complete the ROKA 25th Hour Challenge and MAAP Clean Livin' Challenge yesterday, and have a few more active Strava Challenges:

1) I'm just over half way with the November Walking Challenge;
2) I've managed almost 6 hours with the November 30-Hour Challenge, and
3) I've managed 35 minutes out for 5 hours activity for the 66 Degrees North Challenge, curiously called "Be active this winter" despite it still being Autumn (takes place this month).

I signed up (or at least attempted to sign up) for the "Run for Thanks" virtual 5k on Strava - I'm hoping I don't have to run 5k in one effort, but I think I can cope if that is a requirement. It was a challenge just to sign up, as I had to go through numerous screens.

I started a Strategic Thinking Course online last week, and am going to continue later on today; it has been interesting so far. I will see how I can apply my learning, and possibly sign up for a webinar today if I find something suitable.

After work, I'm hoping to go to the cinema to see Edgar Wright's film "Last Night in Soho"; I have to travel a bit further afield, because for some reason my local cinema isn't showing it.
