Optimistic October: Small Things

I started the day with one of Adriene's yoga videos, with an aim to improving my fitness - possibly help me with future runs.

I followed it up with some fitness; just ten minutes, as I was still feeling yesterday's run - I'll hopefully manage another run tomorrow.

I've managed to log just over 3 hours for the Roka x The Pink Fund and Wiggle v Woolmark Strava Challenges.

I should probably make some more progress with writing my book today before I go out to watch the Metatrons this evening.

Yesterday, we had a nice time out for Dad's birthday; the restaurant was a fancy place, and it did a "tasting menu", meaning that instead of getting huge courses, we got several, smaller courses. The clientele all looked like people who would fit into a place like this - apart from one - there was a man who looked out of place in his garish tea cosy hat; we came up with theories as to why he had it on - the top of his head was hideously scarred/bald, or he was a celebrity attempting to go incognito.

Here's a picspam from the afternoon.

We went back to Dad and my Stepmums' house afterwards and spent a few hours playing "Mexican Train" which I lost at, due to some unlucky turns. I tried some of the whisky that we got Dad as part of his birthday present - it had a nice, smoky taste.
