Another post where I picspam my main meals of the day, trying to keep everything balanced; so here's breakfast: White chocolate coco pops with berries, and a latte macchiato.
Baked potato with baked beans and grated cheese for lunch.
Also, a banana protein flapjack for afters to get more protein - thanks, Graze subscription.
Dinner was a ready meal - mushroom stroganoff with extra vegetables, and a fruit corner yoghurt to make sure once again that I got protein.
Close up of my yoghurt.
I've got back into the habit of logging my food on the Samsung Health app, and I'm told that my meals plus a few snacks totalled 1880 kcal, which is healthier than I usually manage.
I had a swim this morning; the pool opens nice and early on Monday, but filled up quickly - I hoped all the people I overtook were okay with it, I'm never sure about the etiquette with lane swimming.
Mum and I had a walk into town this lunchtime; I'd found out that one of the charity shops was selling
Wingspan, probably "cheep" (groan), but it had evidently been snapped up by the time we arrived.
Work went okay today; I've had plenty of meetings, mostly because my line manager was back at work, so we had lots to discuss.
It looks like I'll be getting my one to one taekwon-do lesson next week, which I do need as soon as possible because of my upcoming grading.
As for other miscellaneous stuff, here's a short picspam.
Daily Doodlewash post - the theme was "swing".
Also, a nice sunset.
I've made progress on four Strava walking challenges today:
1) 38 km of 50 km for the September Walking Challenge;
2) 23 miles of 50 miles for Sweat with Your Sole;
3) 24 miles of 64 miles for Miles for Refugees (this one counts swimming distance as well as walking) and
4) 4 of 10 miles for a new challenge, ULTRA Beer Run (I can win "prizes and beer" if I complete it, a good incentive).
I also intend to get an early-ish night tonight. I think as soon as I've finished blogging away, I'll switch off my screens and listen to some wind-down music.
