Meaningful May: A Good Cause

May 22, 2021 09:45

Quick post to mention a few causes I have an interest in.

First off, the National Hospice Lottery, which I must have mentioned in my old blog, and I really need to find out how I'm doing.

It's a worthwhile cause, and better than giving to all the possibly dubious charities that slip letters through your door. I'm not sure what the odds of winning are, but your money does go to local hospices, so it's well worth it.

I've been thinking of how to get the family interested in walking some of the slow ways, walking routes identified between various towns in the UK this weekend. They're at the stage where people are testing whether they are viable as routes and suitable for everyone to use.

Looking at the map and comparing it to where we're going this weekend, I think trying to get family to walk even part of them is out of the question. I'll keep trying though.

I'm in a bit of a rush this morning; I wanted to get through a few things, like my morning fitness - I'm still on the 30 day challenge, and it's getting tougher. I've managed to log more than 1 hour on the Le Col Aero Challenge though.

Now, I want to make sure I get my 30 minute walk in while I can. Have a good weekend, all.

slow ways, morning, le col, apps, meaningful may, weekends, spring, 30 day workout challenge, happiness, 30 minute challenge, family, strava, action for happiness
