∝Crew Manual

Jun 03, 2009 18:23

"Greetings and welcome to the Intergalactic Alliance 8th Emergency Intercept Fleet under the command of Admiral Orion Alexander Ganymede. I serve as the fleet's primary operations digital intelligence variable algorithm.

You may call me DIVA. My function during this deployment is to act as liaison and instructional program for all field enlisted personnel visiting from outside dimensions. I will be responsible for providing you with all important announcements, Alliance orders, mission updates, and ship status reports via the fleet network. You have been provided a military-issue Sphere© that will auto-connect to the network and allow you to communicate via holograms with all other crew members.

A field manual for enlisted crew has been archived in your Sphere's remote memory. Information pertinent to your assignment has been divided into sections based on each ship within the fleet's formation, with a small section on our flagship and a chapter on Corps regulations. If you are a non-enlisted civilian, there is a visitor's manual in the appendices.

If you have any questions regarding the information in your manual, please refer to the public forum."
